Activities at Little Bugs Childcare

Some examples of the many activities we enjoy include:

• Getting messy making sticky mud pies
• Working with other Little Bugs to build dens
• Lots of different crafts such as art and collage
• Individual projects based on your child’s needs and interests
• Games indoors and out
• Pond dipping, caring for Nursery pets and learning about animals at Creepy Crawlies
• Themed weeks of learning, for example about different countries
• Storytelling and relaxing with friends
• Learning about food, food preparation and basic cooking skills

Day trips and visits

We offer a range of different trips to support the children’s projects. Examples may include visiting Tescos to shop for ingredients to make soup, walking the city walls in York or visiting attractions further afield.
