Here at Little Bugs Childcare we believe that all children have the right to be understood as individuals and are given their own time to develop as creative and competent learners. We support this by:

• Providing lots of inspiring spaces and activities both indoors and out
• Encouraging positive interaction between our children and staff
• Following the Reggio approach to child development which encourages the child’s own ideas, creating individual projects which may last for a few days, weeks or months.
• Encouraging adventurous play within a safe and controlled environment, allowing children to explore and learn for themselves.

Whilst your child is with us we aim to broaden his or her learning in different areas such as language, physical development and social skills.

We recognise that these formative years are key in developing self-awareness, respect for the environment and others, communication, empathy, independence, positive mental attitudes and confidence. Professionally we strive to create the environment where each child will flourish.
